IT Support Specialist | Team Finance&Operations

To make all this AI magic happen, we need a social, diligent, junior talent who enjoys enabling and supporting people by resolving all their IT needs through chat, email and phone. When you reach the limits of your knowledge, you will work with colleagues in your team to see the problem through to resolution.

What do the problems include? You are the first point of call for issues with laptops and account access, as well as the wider technology infrastructure including video conferencing tools, WiFi, and software licensing. You’ll be updating the IT knowledge base with your learnings.

We are a very dynamic company, and you will play a critical role in providing hardware and accounts to new employees, as well as arranging hardware replacements and returns. When a person leaves you securely offboard their accounts and hardware. As IT Support Specialist you will be part of a team of passionate people who create a fun and productive work environment that fosters team-work and professional growth. 

Responsibilities

  • Internal helpdesk support for issues such as password resets and access problems.
  • Remote troubleshooting.
  • Manage Microsoft 365 tenant (e.g. new mailboxes, sharepoints).
  • Shipping and receiving hardware to employees.
  • Technical On- and offboarding of employees.
  • Account and access management for our tool stack (e.g. Zoom, LDAP, Microsoft 365).
  • Performing small laptop repairs and installing and upgrading software, macOS and Fedora.
  • Keeping track of hardware and managing stock.
  • Maintaining the VoIP telephone system.
  • Maintain and update our internal wiki with IT support information.
  • Support office management if needed and Information Security team with audits by performing periodic checks  

Skills and Experience

  • You have knowledge of best IT support practices and ticketing, account management, software licensing, and solving laptop issues for MacOS and Linux based systems.
  • You are a reliable team player who works independently and with integrity while maintaining good communication with the team.
  • You enjoy solving problems for other people, and do not wait on others to take the initiative; we value people that come equipped with their own ideas.
  • You have an energetic and humorous can-do attitude.
  • Your work is organized, accurate with an eye for detail.
  • You have a flexible attitude and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English at a level that will allow you to work in an international environment.
  • Starter position (less than 2 years of experience).
  • Part-time function (about 20 hours/week).
