About the role

We help our customers solve complex business challenges with AI powered software products which integrate into their day-to-day work. From helping financial institutions fight crime, to supporting information solution providers automate workflows. We measure our success through customer satisfaction and quantifiable business impact. We also have a lot of fun doing it!

As the Linux Systems Engineer, you are passionate about leveraging the full potential of Linux and other open source technology to scale up our AI focused products running in our self-hosted cloud and also in “the cloud”.

You feel comfortable with major open source projects and with concepts like networking, virtualization, scalability and high availability. Our stack currently exists of CentOS/Linux, Ovirt, Haproxy, Nginx, Keepalived, iptables and others.

You enjoy being part of a team that provides services to the rest of the company with evolving requirements while guarding security and availability of our products. Not only are you a team-player in a team of System Engineers and DevOps, you also build excellent working relations with the product teams and other parts of the company.


  • Build and support systems based on Linux and other open source software to achieve availability and scalability for our products
  • Communication and alignment with the product teams to understand and fulfill their requirements
  • Plan and implement pragmatic solutions while also taking responsibility for security and availability
  • Secure operational continuity by always keeping rest of the team involved 

The skills & experience you bring

  • We are looking for an experienced colleague who can independently pick up complex tasks
  • You know products like Linux, oVirt, haproxy, nginx, keepalived, iptables,
  • You have experience with Configuration management (Salt, Terraform, Ansible)
  • Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS and Google is a big plus
  • You can find the balance of innovation and creativity, while keeping a keen eye on Security and Quality.
  • You are a strong communicator and team player
  • Bonus points for having experience with working in an ISO 27001 information security environment
